This 48" x 48" quilt really is "cute as a button"!!  The basket blocks have appliqued flowers with button centers, and the remaining blocks are pieced.

The Dolley Madison star has been a favorite quilt block for generations.  In this 68" x 86-1/2" quilt it has been modernized so that Dolley's garden is full of pastel flowers that welcome in spring.  Change the fabrics to red & green and you have a quilt for the holiday season....try batiks and think of a tropical island and the sea breezes.

Here is a great scrappy quilt (twin to full/queen) that gives you an opportunity to use all of those fat quarters you have in your stash.  Chances are if you like the way your fat quarters look in a stack, then you will like your finished quilt.  No wonderful it was named "Simply" Cottage.
